A 2018 Study in Europe showed that leisure and social interactions were the fifth dimension of the ninie indicators of for a quality way of life. In addition, social interactions have been chosen as one of six key indicators that are used within the United Nations’ World happiness report.
Leisure was defined as the time that people spend outside their productive activities and that it has a major impact on their sense of well-being, happiness and life satisfaction.
